No of Temples: 2, Pahaad / mountain: No.,Historical importance: According to many historian scholars in 599 B.C. on the day of Chaitra Shukla Trayodashi, a son namely Vardhamaan was born to king Siddhartha and queen Trishala in Vaihali (Basokand) which belong to Videha Prorince . The place worshipped by many non-Jain too. First president of India Hon.Dr.Rajendra Praad ha laid a foundation stone of ‘Bhagwan Mahavirs Smarak’ here in 1956 also ‘Prakrut Jain Shastra and Ahimsa Shodh Sansthan’ was established by Lte Sahu Shanti Prasad Jain on auspicious occasion of 2600th Janma Kalyanak Government of India also contributed a lot for development of the kshetra. Developmental work is in progress, recently completed. The proposed developmental plan for future includes Aawar to stay sadhas, Guest house, mess, museums, library etc. A black mysteries idol of Lord Mahavir obtained from 52 pokhar dake is established in temple of vaishali.
